Why Media and Information Education for Children -EMIE?
In a digitalized and highly mediatized, young children are exposed to the media from birth and grow up in it.
This exposure predisposes them to an involuntary media overconsumption which is not without danger for their cognitive, social and relational process.
It is then necessary to make media education a weapon for preventing risks of dependency that these children could develop in the short, medium or long term.
Therefore, the E ducation the M edia and the I nformation in these children (EMIE) becomes a must for every family.
